Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's longest-running show "Hardball," is featured in this month's issue of Capitol File Magazine. The story, entitled "It's a Hardball Life" takes us through the political commentator's daily routine, including his pre-show ritual, fist-bumping with his stage director Derbin.
The article compliments Chris' hands-on approach to the planning of his show, and the energy and preparation that he brings into the newsroom on a daily basis. It also discusses how Chris manages to strike a balance between his busy television schedule (as host of two programs), his research and work as an author, and his family life.
Capitol File writes, "No matter how long he has been doing this, it's clear that Matthews is a hardcore news junkie, not just a talking head."
